HANS CHO aka 漢斯嗨起來

由Elliot Woods (英國) 與Mimi Son (南韓)組成的Kimchi & Chips，將兩人於物理與互動藝術的專長，結合代碼，形式，材料，概念和機制等學科，作品主要以涉及人與媒體材料的新穎互動為發想，發現新的技術和藝術樣貌。以NTSC掃描格式為構想，實地創造由繩索與光影構成高於觀眾的兩座結構，將觀眾包覆於中間通道，於高度張力的平行線與其聲響和光影的對比間，似無限衍生與擴大個人的感官體驗，此創作版本為第二版，過往曾於光州ACT藝術節展出，為Kimchi & Chips 非常具有代表性的大型作品之一。

Elliot Woods (UK) teams up with Mimi Son (South Korea) to form Kimchi & Chips. The physics and interactive art duo turns codes, forms, materials, concepts and mechanisms into art. Their work seeks to discover new ways of making art and new forms of art by visualizing novelty interactions between people and media.

Based on the concept of NTSC scanning standard, this work is comprised of two structures made of ropes, light, and shadow. It reaches high above the viewers and forms an enclosure, with the viewers inside. Parallel lines stretched at high tension, accompanied by sounds and the contrast between light and shadow seem to expand and augment invidiual sensory perceptions nonstop. This is the second version of the original work, which had been exhibited in ACT Festival in Gwangju, South Korea. It is one of the most iconic works by Kimchi & Chips.
